What is The Loyalist?
The Loyalist is a neighborhood restaurant and bar. We offer a casual, French Bistro experience with sharable menu choices and a large bar with craft cocktails.
Where is the entrance? What if I need ADA entry?
The Loyalist is located on the subterranean level (just a quick walk down the stairs at entry foyer).
If you need ADA assistance, kindly let us know. Our front entryway is not accessible. We will need to bring you or the guest in your party down into the parking garage directly to the left of our entrance. From there, we can bring you into our dining rooms.
To dine at The Loyalist, do I need to make a reservation?
While making a reservation is recommended, it is not necessary for enjoying dinner or drinks at The Loyalist. Bar seating is available for walk-ins, and we generally hold back a couple of tables from reservations for the same purpose.
What is your cancellation policy?
We do ask that you cancel with us at least 24-hours prior to your reservation time. You may cancel or reschedule your reservation through your Tock account.
Does The Loyalist have a private dining room?
Yes, we have a tucked-away, private room that can be enjoyed for seated groups up to 25 or reception style events up to 40. Please contact Cara Sandoval, our events manager for more details at cara@smythandtheloyalist.com
Is valet parking available at The Loyalist?
We do not have valet parking, but street parking along Ada St is free. There is 2 hour parling along Lake & Randolph. There is also a parking garage 2 blocks north on Ada & Fulton - just a touch north of Fulton on the right hand side.
I have an allergy or dietary restriction. Can I dine at The Loyalist?
With at least two days notice, we will always do our best to accommodate any allergies or dietary restrictions. We very much appreciate any prior notification!
Can I purchase a gift card at The Loyalist?
Yes! Currently, only digital gift cards can be purchased by visiting our home page on our website at https://www.smythandtheloyalist.com. The digital gift card link is in the middle of the header on that page.
What is your corkage policy?
$50 per each 750ml bottle with a maximum of two bottles per table.
What is the Culinary Service Charge for?
This charge for all guest checks at The Loyalist is 100% distributed directly to our culinary team.
